2/3/2024 0 Comments Fan chitchat![]() I always wanted to be an author as child but honestly… I don’t think I could handle the politics surrounding being an author now days. The plot direction just didn’t go where I wanted it too… I didn’t love the characters… the very obviously Japanese influences which weren’t fully implemented… I could go on. ‘ Circle of Shadows‘ by Evelyn Skye was the last book I read which left me underwhelmed. ![]() I don’t like to think books are ‘ bad‘ per say rather that they either aren’t to my taste or weren’t what I was expecting. It’s not like I’ve got a blog dedicated to books! □ 7. Sometimes I’ll read everyday and sometimes I’ll go 2 weeks without reading. I have some other loves in my life which can take me away from reading ( gaming, music etc), so it varies. How often do you read?ĭepends on what gains my interest more strongly. Yep! Why not!? Although I think most YA fantasy fans have pretty much already read it! 5. The trickery, the tension, the rag tag friendships… the writing was good too! □ 4. ‘ The Wicked King‘ was pretty epic if I do say so myself… 3. What made it good? The last book I finished was ‘ The Wicked King‘ by Holly Black but I am currently reading ‘ Thunderhead‘ by Neal Shusterman. not going to ‘ tag‘ anyone so feel free to do this tag if you so wish!ĥ0 Bookish Questions. So I did a quick google search for bookish tags and long and behold this one popped up. *don’t ask me how I’ve kept up with Sunday posts thus far but I have and I’m proud of myself for it!!*
